Most of our summer guests heading to Yahyalı have one goal: to get away from the crowds and the heat. The airport lies near the coast outside Tarsus. At the other end is a valley of waterfalls fed by snowmelt. Between the two there is just one private car ride. No connections. No waiting at a bus station.
Meeting at Arrivals
We follow the flight number in your booking. If the plane lands late, the pickup time moves with it. Once you have your bags, go through the arrivals exit and look for the sign with your name. The driver will take you to the car.
Travelling with climbing gear or camping kit can mean a longer wait at the carousel. That is fine. Pickup is timed to the actual landing, so there is no need to rush.
A Mountain Drive Across the Taurus
The road first runs across the flat Çukurova plain, then climbs into the Taurus Mountains through valleys, pine forest and rocky slopes. As you gain height the air turns noticeably cooler. Approaching Yahyalı, the sharp peaks of the Aladağlar appear to the south, and on a clear day this is the best view of the trip. Your driver chooses the route according to traffic, roadworks and the weather.
If you are staying at a guesthouse in Kapuzbaşı, the last stretch is a narrow, winding road down into the valley. On summer weekends it can get busy.
Picking a Car for Your Kit
Mountain luggage is not city luggage. Ropes, helmets, long rucksacks, sometimes a tent. Think about volume as much as headcount.

Can you drive us straight from the airport to Kapuzbaşı?
Yes. We work door to door, so you can enter your Kapuzbaşı guesthouse as the destination instead of Yahyalı town. Put the guesthouse name and phone number in the notes and the driver will reach the right door. The final stretch into the valley is narrow and winding, so allow a little extra time on summer weekends.
My flight lands at night. Will someone meet me?
Yes. Meeting times are planned around the flight number and landing time in your booking. If the flight is delayed, the pickup time is adjusted to the actual landing and the driver waits at the arrivals exit with your name sign. On night drives through the mountains, the driver sets the speed to suit road conditions.
We are travelling with children. Do you have child seats?
Child seats can be added to your booking as an extra. Write your child's age in the notes so the right seat is prepared and fitted in the car before pickup. The mountain road has plenty of bends, which makes a proper seat even more important for little ones. If you have several children, say how many seats you need.
