We track the flight number in your booking. If your plane is late, the pickup moves to the actual landing time. When you come through the arrivals exit with your luggage, your driver will be waiting with a sign showing your name. For a grandmother travelling with grandchildren or a parent carrying a baby, those few short steps matter.
Add a child seat as an extra in the booking and write the child's age in the notes. If you have more than one child, say how many seats you need.
Mountains, Plateau and the Red River
The first stretch runs through the citrus orchards of the plain. As the motorway climbs into the Taurus, the weather changes; over the top, the broad Central Anatolian plateau begins and Erciyes appears on the horizon. Past Kayseri the road turns north. As you approach Felahiye the Kızılırmak valley opens up, and the reddish water of the river tells you the trip is nearly over.
In winter, snow, fog and ice are possible on the Taurus crossing and the plateau. When a holiday falls in winter, expect the drive to take longer. The driver plans the route around season and road conditions.
