A Çukurova Airport to Kayseri transfer is a long drive from the Mediterranean plain to a high Anatolian city under the snowy cone of Mount Erciyes, a good option whenever a flight into Çukurova fits your schedule. You land in coastal warmth and arrive in a completely different climate. In winter the difference is a heavy coat. Here is how the journey works and how we get you to each part of Kayseri.

Arrivals and the Climb North

We meet you at the arrivals exit with a sign carrying your name. With your flight number on the booking we track the flight, and if it lands late the pickup time is adjusted to match. On a long transfer, that takes a lot of stress out of the day.

From the Tarsus plain the road turns north and climbs into the Taurus Mountains on the Pozantı side. Past the pass, the country opens into wide steppe, and as you near Kayseri, Erciyes rises on the horizon. If you want a break on the way, put it in the notes field and we plan around it.

Business Trips to the City

Kayseri is a manufacturing and trading city, known for furniture, textiles and machinery. Many passengers arriving from Çukurova are buyers, dealers, engineers or trade-fair visitors heading for an industrial zone or a hotel in Melikgazi or Kocasinan, the two central districts. Talas, with its university and newer housing, is the quieter side of town; Hacılar sits at the start of the road to the mountain. Industrial zones are large, so add the company name and gate in the notes to reach the right entrance.

Ski Season on Erciyes

In winter, a good share of travellers head straight for the Erciyes ski resort. Ski bags, boots and helmets take more space than most people expect, and a sedan quickly fills up even for a small group. A VIP Vito or Mercedes Vito keeps everyone and everything comfortable. Write the exact hotel or chalet name in the notes, and allow for slower progress on snowy evenings at the end of the drive. Child seats can be added as an extra for families.

Valleys to the South, Steppe to the North

South of the city, Develi, Yeşilhisar, Yahyalı and İncesu attract a different visitor. Yahyalı is a base for hikers heading into the Aladağlar range and for the Kapuzbaşı waterfalls. Yeşilhisar has the Soğanlı valley with its rock-cut churches, and the Sultan Marshes wetland is well known to birdwatchers. North and east, districts such as Bünyan, Sarıoğlan, Pınarbaşı, Sarız and Tomarza spread across farmland and open steppe, mostly visited by families coming home.

A few tips for the outer districts:

  • Village addresses work best with a landmark, such as a mosque or school.
  • Hiking and climbing gear needs space, so size the vehicle by luggage.
  • Winter evenings can bring snow on the final stretch.
  • If you plan to move on to another place the next day, book that as a separate point-to-point transfer.

Vehicles and Booking

Business Sedan or Premium Sedan suits one or two travellers, Comfort Class three. VIP Vito and Ultra VIP Vito carry six, the Mercedes Vito eight, the Mercedes Sprinter fifteen, and the Ultra VIP Sprinter seats seven in a roomier cabin, welcome on a long road. Prices are per vehicle, not per person, and you see them by class on the booking form. With a fixed return date, choose "Add return" to keep both legs in one reservation. Our Kayseri transfer page has more on travel around the province. After booking, the My Reservation page lets you view the trip or request changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you take our ski group straight to a hotel on Erciyes?

Yes. The transfer is door to door, so you are dropped at your hotel or chalet. Ski equipment takes a lot of room, so we suggest booking one vehicle class above what your headcount alone would need; a VIP Vito works well for four skiers with gear. Put the hotel name and entrance in the notes to save time in snowy conditions.

Do we have to go through Kayseri city to reach Yahyalı or Develi?

No. Enter your address in Yahyalı, Develi, Yeşilhisar or İncesu on the booking form and the car takes you straight there. If you are heading into the Aladağlar for hiking or climbing, factor your gear into the vehicle choice. Any onward trip the next day can be booked as a separate point-to-point transfer.

Our team is visiting a factory. Can we go directly to the industrial zone?

Yes. Enter the company address on the form and add the firm name and gate in the notes. Kayseri's industrial areas are spread out, and knowing the right entrance makes the arrival quicker. Teams of up to eight fit in a Mercedes Vito, larger groups in a Mercedes Sprinter, and the price is per vehicle rather than per person.

What if my flight lands late and we arrive in Kayseri at night?

That is fine. With your flight number on the booking we follow the flight and adjust the pickup time if it is delayed. The mountain and steppe sections will be driven in darkness, so give a clear destination address. After a late flight, a roomier vehicle class makes it easier to rest on the way.
