Çukurova Airport Kayseri Talas Transfer
Vehicles & Prices
Price per vehicle — pick a class and book in a minute.
A Çukurova Airport to Talas transfer takes you from the Mediterranean plain up onto the Anatolian plateau. You step off the plane into warm, humid air; when you step out of the car in Talas, the air is noticeably cooler and drier. Between the two stand the Taurus Mountains. Here is how the journey runs, from the arrivals hall to your door in Talas.
Why Fly Into Çukurova for Kayseri?
Kayseri has its own airport, of course. Even so, many of our passengers land at Çukurova instead. Some find the flight times or connections suit them better. Some visit family or business contacts in Mersin or Adana first. Others are international travellers whose route links the Mediterranean coast with Cappadocia. For all of them, one direct road journey with no extra change of transport is the simplest answer.
Leaving the Airport
We track the flight number in your booking, so if your plane is late, the pickup time moves with it. After baggage claim, your driver is waiting at the arrivals exit with a sign carrying your name.
Because this is a long drive, put any request for a rest stop or other special need in the booking notes. A child seat, bulky luggage, an older passenger. Small details. Over several hours on the road, they all count.
Crossing the Taurus
From the airport the road heads towards Tarsus, then turns north and starts climbing into the Taurus Mountains. The narrow valley of the Cilician Gates at Gülek, pine forests around Pozantı and long viaducts set the scene. Beyond the mountains the route usually continues via the Niğde side towards Kayseri, and the landscape changes completely: fewer trees, a wider horizon, open steppe. Near the end, the silhouette of Erciyes rises ahead, and Talas waits on the slopes of Ali Dağı to its north.
Winter is a different story. Snow, ice and fog are possible on the mountain pass and on the Kayseri plateau, and they can lengthen the trip. On days like that, a calm pace matters more than speed. If you are flying in winter, keep your first plans in Talas flexible.
The Right Car for a Long Road
- Solo business traveller: Premium Sedan or Comfort Class
- Executive who wants to rest or work on the way: Ultra VIP Vito
- Family with holiday luggage and children: VIP Vito
- Large family or tour group: Mercedes Vito or Mercedes Sprinter
Prices are per vehicle, and the booking form shows each class. A child seat can be added as an extra.
Arriving in Talas, and Getting Back
Streets in old Talas are steep and narrow. Add your neighbourhood, housing estate or hotel name in the notes and the driver will get as close to the door as possible. For more on the district itself, what to see and where else we drive from there, visit our Kayseri Talas page.
We recommend booking your return together with your arrival, using the "Add return" option in the booking form so both legs sit in one reservation. The road is long and winter weather is unpredictable, so work back from your flight time and leave a generous margin for check-in and possible slowdowns. To start, pick Çukurova Airport as pickup and Kayseri Talas as drop-off in the booking form and add your flight details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you stop for breaks on the way?
Because it is a long journey, write any request for a rest stop in the booking notes. There are service areas along the route. If you are travelling with young children or older relatives with particular needs, add that to the same note so the plan reflects it. If your request changes later, send it through the My Reservation page.
Do you run this transfer in winter?
We do. In winter, snow, ice and fog can occur on the Taurus pass and the Kayseri plateau. In those conditions the drive simply runs at a calmer pace. Allow for a longer journey time in the colder months and keep your schedule in Talas flexible.
Will the driver wait if my flight lands late?
We follow the flight number you give us when booking. If your flight is delayed, the pickup is adjusted to the actual landing time, and your driver waits at the arrivals exit with a name sign. If your flight details change, send an update through the My Reservation page.
How should I plan the return from Talas?
Book it at the same time as your arrival transfer, using the "Add return" option in the booking form so both legs sit in one reservation. The drive is long, so calculate the pickup by working back from your departure time and leave plenty of margin for check-in, security and any winter slowdowns. If your plans change, you can request a new pickup time through My Reservation.
