A Çukurova Airport to Sarız transfer is one of the longer drives we run. The airport sits near the Mediterranean, outside Tarsus. Sarız lies on the highland plateau at the south-eastern edge of Kayseri province. Between them are a farming plain, mountains and open pasture. Here is how the trip works, from your landing to the door of your house or guesthouse.

Why Land at Çukurova for Sarız?

Many Sarız families live in Adana and Mersin, so relatives flying in from abroad or Istanbul often stop there first. Flight times and connections can also make Çukurova the practical choice. One private car from the arrivals hall straight to a village door saves you from changing buses and lifting the same suitcases again and again.

Name Sign, Bags and Off We Go

We track the flight number you give us. If your plane is late, the pickup time moves with the landing time. Once you have your bags, walk out through the arrivals exit and look for the sign with your name on it. The car is parked a few steps away.

This is a long journey. Take a minute in the terminal to buy water and charge your phone. You will be glad you did.

From Cotton Fields to Open Plateau

The first part of the drive crosses the flat, wide roads of the Çukurova plain, past cotton fields and citrus orchards. Then the road starts to climb. In the mountain sections, bends come thick and the scenery turns rugged. Near Sarız the trees thin out and the land opens into broad pasture under a big sky. Your driver picks the route according to the season, roadworks and weather.

Winter can bring snow and ice on the plateau. On late flights in those months, part of the trip runs in darkness and the driver sets the pace to the road. If you can choose, a daytime arrival makes for an easier ride.

Choosing a Car for a Long Drive

On a trip this long, seat comfort and luggage space matter more than on a quick city run. Families heading home bring gifts, boxed goods and sometimes a pushchair, so count the bags as well as the people.

  • One or two travellers, light luggage: Business Sedan, Premium Sedan or Comfort Class
  • Families of up to six with plenty of cases: VIP Vito
  • Couples or small groups who want to rest on the way: Ultra VIP Vito
  • Up to eight people: Mercedes Vito
  • A wedding party or extended family: Mercedes Sprinter
  • A smaller group that puts comfort first: Ultra VIP Sprinter

Prices are per vehicle, and the booking form shows every class side by side.

Arriving in the Village, Leaving Early

The district centre is easy to find; villages need directions. Add the neighbourhood name, a landmark and a phone number in the notes. For more about the district itself, its seasons and the other trips we run from there, see our Sarız page.

You can book the return at the same time with the Add Return option, so both legs share one reservation. Count back from your departure time, allowing for the length of the road and for check-in. In winter, leave a little earlier. In the form, choose Çukurova Airport as the pickup point and Sarız as the destination, then enter your flight details.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We follow the flight number in your booking. When a flight runs late, the pickup time is adjusted to the actual landing, and the driver waits at the arrivals exit with your name sign at the new time. Make sure the flight number is correct; if it changes, send a change request from the My Reservation page.

Do you drive to Sarız in winter?

Yes, transfers run in winter too. Snow and ice can form on the plateau, so the driver adapts speed and route to conditions, and the trip may take longer than in summer. Where possible, choose a daytime flight, and for the return leg set your pickup time somewhat earlier than you would in the warmer months.

Can we pick up a relative on the way?

Our transfers are planned point to point. If someone needs to be collected from another address along the route, mention it in the notes when you book. For a programme with stops, the cleanest approach is to book each part as its own point-to-point transfer; the booking form shows the price for each vehicle class.

Can I add the return journey later?

The easiest way is to tick Add Return when you first book, so the outbound and return legs sit in one reservation. If your return date is still open, you can make a separate booking later. Choose the pickup time by counting back from your flight, allowing for the long drive and for airport check-in.
