Çukurova Airport Kayseri Sarıoğlan Transfer
Vehicles & Prices
Price per vehicle — pick a class and book in a minute.
Some of our Çukurova Airport to Kayseri Sarıoğlan transfer passengers are chasing morning light. For a birder who wants sunrise at the lake, the time you leave the airport matters almost as much as the photograph. Others are simply families heading home for the holidays. This page covers the journey from arrivals to your door for both, plus advice on carrying equipment and planning the return.
Lenses in the Bag, Flight Number in the Booking
Add your flight number when you book. We track the flight, and if it is delayed the pickup moves to the actual landing time. At the arrivals exit your driver is waiting with a sign showing your name. Hard cases and tripods are usually last off the belt, so take your time.
List your equipment in the notes beforehand. Luggage space is planned around it, so there are no surprises at the car.
Over the Taurus, Across the Plateau, On to the Lake
The airport is on the Tarsus side. The road runs flat at first, then climbs into the Taurus and crosses on the Pozantı side, a winding section that can see snow and fog in winter. Coming down the far side, the wide, treeless horizon of Central Anatolia opens up and Mount Erciyes becomes your landmark.
Sarıoğlan lies to the northeast of Kayseri, so the route passes through or around the city and keeps going. In the final stretch, villages thin out and fields widen. Light over the lake is soft in late afternoon, but if dawn is your target, spending the first night in or near the district makes the plan far easier.
The Right Car for Birders and Families
A solo birder with a backpack is fine in a Business Sedan or Comfort Class car. Two people with a tripod and a hard case suit a Premium Sedan. A photography team of three or four with long lenses and several bags fits well in a VIP Vito, and those who want to rest between sessions often choose the Ultra VIP Vito. Families returning with holiday luggage take the eight-seat Mercedes Vito, while nature tour groups or large families go for the Mercedes Sprinter or Ultra VIP Sprinter.
Prices are per vehicle and the booking form shows all classes side by side. Families with small children can add a child seat as an extra.
From the Lake Back to the Airport
Birding trips have a habit of running long. One more flock, one more frame. Build that into your return pickup and leave a wide margin before your flight, wider still in winter. Tick “Add return” when you book and both legs sit in one reservation. If your plans shift, send a change request from the My Reservation page.
For more on Lake Palas Tuzla, the salt harvest and our other routes from the district, see our Sarıoğlan transfer page. To book, select Çukurova Airport as pickup and Sarıoğlan as drop-off in the booking form, then add your flight number.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you drop us right at the lake shore?
You can describe your drop-off point in the notes. Because the lake is a protected area, the car needs somewhere it can stop safely; a known point inside the Palas neighbourhood or your accommodation address is usually the most practical. From there you can reach the shore on foot. Add a phone number that will be answered.
If I land late at night, should I head straight to the lake?
For late arrivals we suggest going to your accommodation first. Birds are best watched in daylight, and waiting by the lake in the dark is not practical. You can book a separate point-to-point transfer from your accommodation to the lake for the next morning. Your flight is tracked, so you are met even if you land late.
Will there be enough space for expensive equipment?
If you describe your equipment in detail in the notes, luggage space is planned accordingly. A single photographer usually manages in a Premium Sedan, but several hard cases plus tripods make the VIP Vito the more comfortable option. If you prefer to keep delicate gear beside you in the cabin, mention that too.
Can I book the outward and return trips on different dates?
Yes. In the booking form, select the outward trip, tick “Add return” and enter the date and time you need for the return. Both journeys are stored in one reservation. If your birding plans run longer, send a change request for the return date from the My Reservation page.
