Çukurova Airport Kayseri Özvatan Transfer
Vehicles & Prices
Price per vehicle — pick a class and book in a minute.
Think of a Çukurova Airport to Kayseri Özvatan transfer as one of the longer journeys we run. You cross the Taurus, leave Kayseri behind, and finally drop into a quiet valley far from the city lights. Bring patience as well as suitcases. This page covers the trip from the arrivals hall to the village gate, the practical details of the final stretch, and how to plan the return.
After a Long Flight, a Simple Welcome
Many families heading to Özvatan arrive on connecting flights from abroad and are already tired when they land. So we keep the welcome simple. You add your flight number when booking, we track the flight, and if it is delayed the pickup moves with it. After baggage claim, your driver is waiting at the arrivals exit with a sign showing your name.
Travelling with children? Add a child seat as an extra. On a long road, a comfortable child means a calm car.
A Road in Three Acts
It helps to picture the journey in three parts. First the plain: flat roads from the airport on the Tarsus side to the foot of the mountains. Then the mountains: the route crosses the Taurus on the Pozantı side, with plenty of bends and possible snow or fog in winter. Finally the plateau: up into Central Anatolia, past Kayseri and along quieter roads to Özvatan.
The last act is different from the others. Roads narrow, villages thin out, street lights are scarce at night. As you descend into the district's mountain-ringed hollow, you can feel the quiet. This is also the part of the trip that needs the most detail from you.
Preparing for the Final Stretch
Sat-nav does not always find a village house. Help the driver by writing the village or neighbourhood name in the notes, adding a landmark near the house such as a mosque, school or fountain, and giving the number of a relative who will answer the phone when you arrive. If the car cannot enter the courtyard, describe a safe place for it to stop.
When choosing a car, overestimating luggage beats underestimating it. A family of five or six returning from abroad with gift boxes fits well in a VIP Vito. Bigger families choose the eight-seat Mercedes Vito, and those bringing the whole clan together pick the Mercedes Sprinter. Prices are per vehicle.
Going Home: Honey Jars and an Early Start
Return luggage is a different animal. Honey, cheese, dried goods: heavy, and some of it breakable. Wrap jars in soft clothing. When choosing the pickup time, allow for the mountain road and for the drive out from the village, and go earlier in winter. Tick “Add return” when you book your arrival and both legs sit in one reservation.
For more on the district once called Çukur, its honey and our other routes from there, see our Özvatan transfer page. To book, choose Çukurova Airport as pickup and Özvatan as drop-off in the booking form and add your flight number.
Frequently Asked Questions
My connecting flight might be late. Will the driver still be there?
Pickup is planned around the flight number in your booking, and we track that flight. If a delayed connection means you land late, the pickup time is adjusted to the actual landing. If your final flight number changes, send the new one as a change request from the My Reservation page so we track the right flight.
Is arriving in the village late at night a problem?
Village roads can be poorly lit at night, which makes a good address description even more important. In the notes, give the village name, a known landmark near the house and the number of a relative who will answer the phone on arrival. We work door to door, and these details bring you to the right gate.
What do you suggest for a winter trip?
In winter, the Taurus pass and Central Anatolian roads can see snow, ice or fog. Be patient on the way in, and for the return choose an earlier pickup with a generous margin before your flight. Keep a warm coat in your hand luggage; the plateau is far colder than the coast where you land.
Can a large family travel in one vehicle?
Groups of up to fifteen travel together in a Mercedes Sprinter. Families of up to eight fit the Mercedes Vito, and the Ultra VIP Sprinter offers a roomier ride for up to seven. Note your luggage in the booking form; since prices are per vehicle, sharing one car lowers the cost per person.
