A Çukurova Airport to İslahiye transfer follows the road towards Gaziantep and then breaks off south before reaching the city. Because İslahiye lies at the western edge of the province, you never need to enter central Gaziantep. This page explains the journey from arrivals to your door, the mountain crossing, which vehicle to choose and how to plan the return.

Meeting You at Arrivals

We track the flight number in your booking. If your plane is late, the pickup is moved to the actual landing time. Collect your luggage, walk through the arrivals exit and look for the sign with your name. Then you are on your way.

Business travellers often spend the first hour on calls. Families usually find the children asleep before Adana is behind them.

From the Ceyhan Plain Over the Amanos

The first stretch runs from Tarsus to Adana and then east on the motorway, across the flat, open fields of the Ceyhan plain to Osmaniye. Around Toprakkale the roads to Hatay and Gaziantep split, and you continue east towards the mountains.

Then the Amanos begin. The motorway crosses the range on tunnels and viaducts, with snow on the peaks in winter and green slopes in spring. On the eastern side, near Nurdağı, the route leaves the main road and drops south onto the İslahiye plain. Things get quieter here. Fields, villages, and the outline of the Amanos in the distance.

In winter, weather on the mountain section can be very different from the plain, so check conditions before you travel.

The Right Vehicle for the Trip

  • A single visitor on site or official business: Business Sedan or Premium Sedan
  • A family with children coming for the holidays: VIP Vito
  • A technical crew or extended family of up to eight: Mercedes Vito
  • A large group of relatives in one vehicle instead of a convoy: Mercedes Sprinter
  • Travellers who want a roomier cabin for the long road: Ultra VIP Vito
  • A small group that values comfortable seating: Ultra VIP Sprinter

Prices are per vehicle and the booking form shows every class side by side. Child seats can be added as an extra.

Arrival, Dig Sites and the Way Back

If you are staying outside the town, in a village or close to an excavation, add the address and short directions in the booking notes. For Yesemek, Zincirli and other trips from the district, see our İslahiye page.

Plan the return from the start. With the Add return option, the outbound and return trips sit in one booking. Choose a pickup time that works back from your flight, allowing for the mountain crossing and check-in. If dates change, send a change request through the My Reservation page. To begin, choose Çukurova Airport as pickup and Gaziantep İslahiye as drop-off.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the route to İslahiye go through Gaziantep city?

Usually not. Since İslahiye is at the western edge of the province, the route runs via Adana and Osmaniye on the motorway, crosses the Amanos Mountains and then leaves the main road near Nurdağı to head south onto the İslahiye plain. Central Gaziantep stays to the east of the route.

Does winter weather affect the mountain crossing?

On the section over the Amanos Mountains, winter weather can be noticeably different from the plain, with snow or heavy rain at times. Check weather and road conditions before travelling, and choose a slightly earlier pickup for your return. If you need to make a change, send a request through the My Reservation page.

Where do we meet the driver at the airport?

Your driver waits at the arrivals exit of Çukurova Airport with a sign showing your name. Because we track your flight number, the pickup time is adjusted if the plane is delayed. Once you have collected your bags, just look for the sign as you come out.

Our excavation team travels with equipment. Which vehicle should we book?

Small teams carrying equipment cases usually choose the VIP Vito, while teams of up to eight get more luggage space in the Mercedes Vito. Larger teams prefer the fifteen-seat Mercedes Sprinter. Describe the type and rough size of your equipment in the booking notes so you can pick the right class.
