A Çukurova Airport to Nizip transfer crosses Gaziantep province from one side to the other and heads on towards the Euphrates. The airport is on the Tarsus side of the coast; Nizip lies east of Gaziantep city. It is a long road trip, but a well-planned one is not tiring. This page covers the journey from arrivals to your hotel or meeting address, which vehicle to choose and how to plan the return.

Landing: Name Sign and Flight Tracking

We track the flight number in your booking, so if the plane is late the pickup moves to the real landing time. At the arrivals exit, your driver waits with a name sign. If you are travelling with a buying team, the sign shows the name of the person who booked.

The first hour is enough for email. After that, the view takes over.

Plain, Mountains, Then the Olive Country

The route runs from Tarsus to Adana and then east on the motorway, across the fields of the Ceyhan plain to Osmaniye. Then come the Amanos Mountains, crossed on tunnels and viaducts. As the road descends, the soil turns red and rows of pistachio trees appear.

After skirting Gaziantep, the road continues east towards the Euphrates. Olive groves grow thicker. In harvest season you will pass trailers piled with sacks of olives. Approaching Nizip, the industrial edge of town and its oil presses appear first; the centre is a little further in.

In autumn, harvest traffic can slow things down at the town entrances. If your meeting time is fixed, allow some extra margin.

Business, Family or Sightseeing: Picking the Car

  • One business traveller: Business Sedan or Premium Sedan
  • A buying or audit team of three: Comfort Class
  • Executives flying in who want to work on the road: VIP Vito or Ultra VIP Vito
  • A large family or group of up to eight: Mercedes Vito
  • A big tour group heading for Zeugma: Mercedes Sprinter
  • A smaller group that values comfort: Ultra VIP Sprinter

Prices are per vehicle and the booking form lists every class side by side. Child seats can be added as an extra.

Drop-Off and the Return Trip

Factory, hotel or family home, add the address and any gate or entrance details in the booking notes. For the town's olive oil and soap tradition, Zeugma and other trips from there, see our Nizip page.

Plan the return when you book. With the Add return option, both legs sit in one booking. Choose a pickup time that works back from your flight, allowing for the long drive and check-in. If your schedule changes, send a change request through the My Reservation page. To start, select Çukurova Airport as pickup and Gaziantep Nizip as drop-off.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which provinces does the drive from the airport to Nizip pass through?

The route starts on the Tarsus side of Mersin and runs east on the motorway through Adana and Osmaniye. After crossing the Amanos Mountains it reaches Gaziantep, then continues east around the city towards Nizip near the Euphrates. It is a long road journey through four provinces.

Does the olive harvest make the trip longer?

During the autumn harvest, traffic can build up at the town entrances and around the oil presses. If your meeting or factory visit has a fixed time, allow a little extra. For the return trip, choosing a slightly earlier pickup than strictly necessary also keeps things relaxed.

We are travelling as a delegation. How do we meet at the airport?

Your driver waits at the arrivals exit of Çukurova Airport with a sign showing the name of the person who booked. Even if delegation members come out at different times, simply gather by the sign. Because we track the flight number, a delay automatically shifts the pickup time.

Can we go straight back to the airport after a meeting in Nizip?

Yes. Use the Add return option in the booking form to add the trip from your meeting address to the airport to the same booking. Set the pickup by working back from your flight, allowing for the long drive and check-in. If the meeting time changes, send a change request through the My Reservation page.
