Tomuk Transfer
Tomuk private transfer from Erdemli's pool and aquapark holiday complexes to the airport, Mersin, Adana and Kızkalesi, with roomy vans for summer luggage.
Transfer to Tomuk
A Tomuk transfer request almost always comes with a complex name and a block number. Tömük (written Tomuk in English) is a seaside neighbourhood of Erdemli, on the coast road west of Mersin, just before you reach Erdemli town. In summer it fills up: large residential sites with pools and water slides, apartment blocks on the beach, lemon groves in between. This page explains what a stay here looks like and how our private transfers connect Tomuk with the airport and the wider region.
Life Inside the Holiday Complexes
In Tomuk, a holiday happens in a garden courtyard rather than a hotel lobby. Many complexes have their own swimming pools, a children's aquapark with slides, and some have private beach access. Sea in the morning, pool in the afternoon, a walk along the shore at dusk.
Most people here rent or own an apartment, which makes one detail important for any transfer: which complex, which block. Some sites are big, with more than one gate.
Neighbours From All Over
The summer population is a real mix. Families from central Anatolia who stay for months, Mersin residents who move to the coast for the season and Turkish families living abroad who come home on holiday often end up in the same complex.
- Families from Kayseri, Niğde or Ankara spending the whole summer by the sea
- Mersin residents who move to their summer flat and commute to work
- Expat families back in Turkey for their annual leave
- Holidaymakers renting a flat in a pool complex for a week or two
A family moving in for the season carries far more than suitcases, so we usually suggest a VIP Vito for up to six people and the eight-seat Mercedes Vito for larger family groups. For a couple on a short weekend, a Business Sedan does the job.
What Is Close By
Location is Tomuk's strength. Erdemli's market, shops and hospital are just to the west. Mersin city centre lies east along the coast road. Keep heading west and you reach the sea castle at Kızkalesi, Narlıkuyu with the Heaven and Hell sinkholes, and eventually Silifke. Roads to the north climb into the Taurus foothills, where many local families escape the summer heat in highland villages.
For these trips, book point-to-point transfers. Plan the outbound and return legs as separate transfers, and the Add return option in the booking form keeps the return in the same reservation.
Getting Around From Tomuk
Airport runs are the main request. We also drive guests to hospital appointments in Adana, to meetings near Mersin port or the industrial zone, and to family visits in Tarsus. Pickup is at your complex gate. For the airport leg itself, from landing to the gate of your site, see our page on the Çukurova Airport to Tomuk transfer.
We charge per vehicle, not per person. Choose Tomuk in the booking form, enter your date and compare vehicle classes. Add the complex name and block number in the notes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is Tomuk and how close is it to Erdemli?
Tömük, or Tomuk, is a coastal neighbourhood in the Erdemli district of Mersin province, on the coast road running west from Mersin and just east of Erdemli town centre. It is known for large summer complexes with pools and aquaparks. Erdemli's shops and services are close by, and Mersin city centre is an easy drive along the coast.
Our complex is huge. How will the driver find the right gate?
Some sites in Tomuk have several blocks and more than one entrance. In the notes field of the booking form, write the complex name, your block number and, if possible, which gate you would like to be collected from. Add a reachable phone number too. If anything changes, send a change request from the My Reservation page.
We are moving in for the summer with lots of things. Which vehicle?
Families moving to a summer flat usually bring boxes, kitchen items and toys as well as suitcases. For up to six people, the VIP Vito offers plenty of luggage room. Larger family groups suit the eight-seat Mercedes Vito, and bigger groups the fifteen-seat Mercedes Sprinter. As the price is per vehicle, a larger car stays good value per person.
Can we go from Tomuk to Kızkalesi or up to the highlands?
Yes. You can book point-to-point transfers from Tomuk to Kızkalesi, Narlıkuyu, Silifke or the highland villages north of Erdemli. Add the way back with the Add return option in the booking form and both legs sit in a single reservation at the times you choose. Prices for each vehicle class appear in the form.
