Kayseri İncesu Çukurova Airport Transfer
Vehicles & Prices
Price per vehicle — pick a class and book in a minute.
Many of our Kayseri İncesu to Çukurova Airport transfer passengers chose İncesu as a quiet base for exploring Cappadocia. The days went on balloons, valley walks and pottery workshops, and now it is the last one. The drive runs south across the plateau and over the Taurus range to the airport near Tarsus, and it is long enough that your final day should be built around it. This page is about keeping that day light, protecting fragile souvenirs and working out the pickup time.
Don't Squeeze a Tour Into Departure Day
The most common planning mistake in Cappadocia is adding one more activity to the day you fly. Balloon at dawn, a valley at noon, the plane in the evening. It works on paper. In practice, balloon flights can be postponed for weather, tours overrun and the whole day slips. Keeping the morning of your flight free does half the work of an easy trip home.
If the balloon really has to be on the last morning, calculate the pickup from the flight, not from the balloon schedule. Take your departure time, subtract the check-in and bag-drop window your airline recommends, allow for security and add the drive from İncesu. If you cannot be back at the hotel by then, change the tour, not the flight.
Pottery, Rugs and Anything Breakable
Every suitcase leaving Cappadocia seems to hold something fragile. A ceramic jug, painted plates, a glass evil-eye charm. Sometimes a folded rug. To get them home in one piece:
- Wrap ceramics in clothes in the middle of the case, never at the edges.
- Carry anything very valuable in your cabin bag.
- Ask the seller to pack rugs and kilims tightly, and give their size in your booking.
- For old or antique items going abroad, keep the receipt and ask the seller about export rules.
An extra box or a large roll can fill a sedan boot surprisingly fast. Mention it in the notes and the right vehicle class becomes easier to pick.
Pickups in İncesu: Hotel, Mansion or Family Home
You may be staying in a boutique hotel, a restored stone mansion or a family home. At a hotel, the name is enough. For mansions and houses, add the neighbourhood and short directions; describing the way from a well-known building such as the Kara Mustafa Paşa complex helps. If check-out does not fit your flight, ask your host in advance where you can leave the cases.
From the Plateau to the Plain
The journey starts in the open, dry landscape of the Anatolian plateau. Heading south, the Taurus Mountains come closer, the road climbs, and after the pass it drops toward the Mediterranean side. On the plain the air is noticeably warmer. In winter the mountain section can see snow and ice, so leave extra time in that season. For late-night flights, setting off in the evening also avoids summer daytime traffic.
Choose the vehicle with the luggage and the length of the drive in mind. A Business Sedan or Premium Sedan suits a couple; with boxes of souvenirs a VIP Vito is more comfortable. A family of up to six may prefer the Ultra VIP Vito, a group of eight the Mercedes Vito, and a larger tour party the Mercedes Sprinter or the seven-seat Ultra VIP Sprinter. Prices are per vehicle, not per person.
Filling In the Form
Choose Kayseri İncesu as the pickup and Çukurova Airport as the destination. Add the flight number, departure time, pickup address and any bulky parcels to the notes. If plans change, send a change request from the My Reservation page. For more about the district, see our İncesu transfer page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it sensible to take a balloon flight on the morning I fly home?
It is possible but risky. Balloon flights can be postponed for weather, and morning programmes can overrun. If you go, work out the transfer pickup by counting back from your departure and make sure you can be at the hotel by then. If you are unsure, moving the balloon to the previous day makes for a calmer trip home.
How do I fit the rug and ceramics I bought into the car?
Give the number and rough size of the parcels in the booking notes. With a large roll or several boxes, choose a class with more luggage space, such as the VIP Vito, rather than a sedan. Wrap ceramics among your clothes and keep valuable pieces in your cabin bag. The form shows the price for each vehicle class.
We are staying in a stone mansion. How will the driver find us?
In the notes, give the mansion name, the neighbourhood and short directions. Describing the route from a well-known landmark, such as the Kara Mustafa Paşa complex, helps. Add a phone number that will be on at pickup, and keep your cases close to the door so you are ready to go.
My departure time has changed. How do I update the transfer?
Open your booking on the My Reservation page and send a change request with the new departure time. Work out the new pickup by counting back from the flight, allowing for check-in and the drive from the plateau to the plain. In winter, leave a little more margin for the mountain pass.
