Çukurova Airport Marpessa Blue Beach Resort & Spa Transfer
Vehicles & Prices
Price per vehicle — pick a class and book in a minute.
A Çukurova Airport to Marpessa Blue Beach Resort & Spa transfer is one of the longest coastal drives in the region. You land on the Tarsus side; the resort lies on Akdeniz Street in Yeşilovacık, after Mersin, Erdemli, Silifke and Taşucu have all slipped behind you. Public transport would mean several changes. Here is how the trip works in one private car, from arrivals to the resort entrance.
The Start of a Long Ride: Your Meeting
On a long drive, a calm start matters. You put your flight number in the booking, we track the flight, and if it runs late the pickup follows the actual landing time. Look for the sign with your name as you come through arrivals.
A small tip before you set off. Keep water, snacks and anything the children need in your hand luggage. The suitcases go in the back, and you settle in for the ride.
A Coastal Journey in Three Parts
It helps to think of the drive in three parts. First, the city: the car heads west towards Mersin and skirts it on wide roads. Second, the coast: Erdemli, Kızkalesi, Narlıkuyu, Atakent and Susanoğlu go by in turn, then Silifke and Taşucu at the edge of the Göksu Delta.
The third part belongs to this hotel alone. After Taşucu the road climbs into the hills and bends down to the coves, past the Boğsak area to Yeşilovacık. In the village, the car follows Akdeniz Street and stops at the resort's street-side entrance. This last section moves more slowly, and it is not a road to rush.
Resort Luggage and the Right Vehicle
A family arriving for a week at a resort packs very differently from someone spending two nights in a city hotel. On a long drive, comfort counts too.
- A couple travelling light: Business Sedan or Comfort Class
- A couple who want a roomier cabin for the ride: Premium Sedan
- A family with children and plenty of cases: VIP Vito
- A family who want to rest on the way: Ultra VIP Vito
- Two families holidaying together: eight-seat Mercedes Vito
- A wedding, meeting or large holiday party: Mercedes Sprinter
Prices are per vehicle. Child seats can be added as an extra, and the booking form shows every class side by side.
Flight Time, Check-In Time, Return Time
Because the drive is long, think about your arrival time when you choose a flight. A morning landing gets you to the resort during the day; a late-night landing means arriving very late. Talk to the hotel about check-in and late arrival beforehand. For the resort's setting in Yeşilovacık and trips from there, see our Marpessa Blue Beach Resort & Spa page.
No separate booking is needed for the return: the "Add return" option in the form adds the resort-to-airport leg to the same reservation. Do not set a tight pickup time here. Allow for the winding western section, the coast road, traffic around Mersin and airport formalities. To start, choose Çukurova Airport as pickup and Marpessa Blue Beach Resort & Spa as drop-off, then enter your flight number.
Frequently Asked Questions
What route does the car take to Yeşilovacık?
The car heads towards Mersin first, then follows the coast road through Erdemli, Kızkalesi, Narlıkuyu and Silifke to Taşucu. After Taşucu the road enters a winding section that climbs into the hills and drops down to the coves, passing the Boğsak area before reaching Yeşilovacık. It is one of the longest coastal transfers in the region.
What if we want to spend a few hours somewhere on the way?
On a drive this long, breaking the journey can be tempting. If you want to spend time somewhere along the route, say a few hours in Kızkalesi, it is better to book the outbound and onward legs as separate point-to-point transfers. You can reserve each leg separately in the booking form.
Is a late-night flight a good idea?
For the transfer it makes no difference: your flight is tracked and the car meets you at arrivals whenever you land. Because the drive is long, though, you will reach the resort very late. If that is your plan, tell the hotel your expected arrival time and confirm its check-in arrangements before your stay.
When should we leave for the airport on the way home?
Count back from your flight time and leave a generous margin. The winding stretch between Yeşilovacık and Taşucu, the coast road and summer traffic around Mersin can all add time. The easiest way to book the return is with the "Add return" option when you reserve your arrival.
