A Çukurova Airport to İtaly Otel transfer is, in a way, the first leg of a culture trip. The airport is near Tarsus; İtaly Otel is in Taşucu, Silifke's harbour town, close to the Amphora Museum according to booking sites. In between lies the whole of Mersin, the Erdemli shoreline and a coast dotted with ancient sites. Here is how the journey runs from landing to the hotel door.

From the Baggage Belt to Your Name Sign

Put your flight number in the booking. We track the flight, and if it is late the pickup shifts to the real landing time. Once you have your bags, look for the sign with your name at arrivals. No waiting around, no searching.

Camera bags, walking boots, perhaps binoculars. People on culture trips carry a lot of hand luggage. A car with room to spread out makes the first day easier.

The Coast Road, Mersin to Silifke

The car heads west towards Mersin on the wide roads around the city. Beyond Mersin the coastal road begins, and you pass places you may come back to later in the week: the sea castle at Kızkalesi, the sinkholes at Narlıkuyu, the beaches of Atakent. Think of this first drive as a preview of the itinerary.

Into Taşucu and Up to the Door

At Silifke the car skips the town centre and turns towards Taşucu. The flat land of the Göksu Delta stretches south of the road, then the harbour town begins. The hotel is inside the town, and the car heads to the entrance using the hotel name in your booking. Taşucu's streets are small-town sized. With a Mercedes Sprinter, the car may stop at the nearest suitable point. On summer evenings the quay area gets lively.

Matching the Car to the Trip

What you plan to do in the following days matters as much as how many you are. Roughly:

  1. Couple with light luggage: Business Sedan or Comfort Class
  2. Couple wanting a roomier cabin: Premium Sedan
  3. Four or five people with camera kit: VIP Vito
  4. Small group who want to rest on the drive: Ultra VIP Vito
  5. Small guided party of eight: Mercedes Vito
  6. Tour group of up to fifteen: Mercedes Sprinter

We charge per vehicle, not per person, so the share per head drops as the group grows. Families can add a child seat as an extra.

Fit the Return Around Your Itinerary

If your schedule is settled, add the return now. No separate booking is needed: the “Add return” option puts the hotel-to-airport leg into the same reservation. Rather than squeezing a big excursion into the last day, choose a pickup time that works back from your flight and allows for the long coastal road. For the hotel's surroundings and the day trips from it, see our İtaly Otel page. To start, choose Çukurova Airport as pickup and İtaly Otel as drop-off.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the car go through Silifke town on the way to Taşucu?

Usually not. After Mersin the car follows the coastal road to Silifke and carries on towards Taşucu without entering the town centre. The exact route can vary with traffic and road conditions. If you want to stop somewhere in Silifke on the way, plan it as a separate point-to-point transfer.

What should I do if my flight time changes?

Open the My Reservation page and send a change request with your new flight details. Same-day delays are covered by flight tracking, so the pickup moves to the actual landing time. If your flight number changes completely, make sure to let us know so the tracking stays correct.

Can we book transfers for our sightseeing days too?

Yes. Book point-to-point transfers from the hotel to Uzuncaburç, Ayatekla, the Göksu Delta or Kızkalesi. Each trip can be its own booking, with the way back added through the “Add return” option. The booking form shows prices by vehicle class before you confirm.

Is the price per person?

No, prices are per vehicle. You pay for the vehicle class you choose regardless of how many passengers ride in it. That is why, for a group of six or eight, a Vito-class vehicle brings the cost per person down noticeably. All classes are listed side by side in the booking form.
