Vista Hotel Transfer
Vista Hotel transfer: private cars from this boutique hotel near Soli beach in Mezitli to the airport, central Mersin, Tarsus and the ancient coast.
Transfer to Vista Hotel
Vista Hotel is a boutique hotel in the Akdeniz neighbourhood of Mezitli, listed by tourism sites within walking distance of Soli public beach. Small, quiet, away from the crowds. Most people planning a Vista Hotel transfer want to keep it that way. Below we cover this stretch of coast, how to get to Vista Hotel and where you can go from its door.
A Boutique Hotel on the Soli Shore
This part of Mezitli takes its name from the ancient city of Soli, known in Roman times as Pompeiopolis. The remains of its colonnaded street still stand and are the district's best-known landmark. The beach carries the same name. Vista Hotel sits in this area, on one of the numbered streets inside the neighbourhood.
Boutique means a doorway on a residential street rather than a grand forecourt. Arriving by car, it helps to have a driver who will find the street for you. We drop you at the door; the rest of the trip is yours.
Who Picks This Part of the Coast
Boutique-hotel guests usually know what they are after. Not a big resort, but somewhere quiet with the beach on foot.
- Couples on a weekend break
- History lovers starting at Soli and working west along the coast
- Wedding or family-gathering guests who want a calmer base
- Business travellers stretching a trip by a few days by the sea
Most of these guests travel light, and a sedan usually does the job.
Day Trips From the Ancient Shore
After Soli, curiosity tends to head west. Along the coastal road come Erdemli, then the land and sea castles at Kızkalesi, the Heaven and Hell sinkholes at Narlıkuyu and finally Silifke. East lie central Mersin, Tarsus with St Paul's Well and Cleopatra's Gate, and further on Adana.
We can drive you to any of these from the hotel door as a point-to-point private transfer. If you want several stops in one day, book the outward and return legs as separate point-to-point transfers.
A Note for Those Flying In
The airport is east of Mersin, near Tarsus. Vista Hotel is on the city's western side, so the whole of Mersin lies between them. Our page on the airport transfer to Vista Hotel describes the meeting at arrivals and the drive into this part of the coast.
Check your arrival time with the hotel ahead of time. Small hotels may run reception differently from large ones, so let them know if you will be late. On departure day, choose your pickup time by working back from your flight. Use the "Add return" option to keep both legs in one booking. Prices are per vehicle, not per person; select Vista Hotel in the form, enter your date and compare the classes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Vista Hotel near Soli beach?
Tourism listings place Vista Hotel in the Akdeniz neighbourhood of Mezitli, within walking distance of Soli public beach. The ancient city of Soli lies on the same stretch of coast. As the hotel is on a numbered residential street, our car takes you right to its entrance.
Can we visit the historic sights of Tarsus from the hotel?
Yes. Book a point-to-point transfer from Vista Hotel to central Tarsus, home to St Paul's Well and Cleopatra's Gate, and add the way back with the "Add return" option in the same booking. If you plan several stops in a day, book each leg as a separate transfer.
We are a couple. Which car is enough?
Two people with two suitcases fit comfortably in a Business Sedan. For a little more room inside, choose a Premium Sedan or Comfort Class. Prices are per vehicle, and once you enter your date in the booking form you can see each class side by side.
Is late check-in a problem?
That depends on the hotel's own reception arrangements, and we cannot answer for the hotel. At boutique properties a late arrival often needs to be arranged in advance, so tell the hotel your expected time. Your transfer follows your flight, so you will be met even if the plane is delayed.
