Tece Transfer
Tece private transfer to holiday and year-round estates in Mezitli, Mersin, with door-to-door rides to the airport, central Mersin, Adana and the coast.
Transfer to Tece
A Tece transfer usually serves one of two lives. There are families who move into their holiday flat for the summer, and there are residents who now live here all year and commute into Mersin. Once a small town in its own right, Tece is today a seaside neighbourhood in the Mezitli district of Mersin. Here is what the area is like, who travels from it and where our private transfers go.
From Small Town to City Edge
Tece used to have its own municipality; now it is one of Mezitli's neighbourhoods. You can see the change on its streets. Next to older houses with gardens stand multi-block estates with pools. Some fill up only in summer. Others are lived in year-round.
Being close to the city is the point. Tece sits just west of central Mersin on the coast road, which makes it a reasonable compromise: work in town by day, sea views by evening. At weekends the neighbourhood slips into holiday mode.
Life Between the Road and the Sea
Everyday life here runs in the strip between the coast road and the water. Most estates are a short walk from the shore. People walk the seafront, a few fish in the late afternoon, children cross to the beach with their bags. In summer the streets stay lively until late.
Together with neighbouring Davultepe and Kuyuluk, Tece forms part of Mezitli's westward belt of holiday housing. A little to the east stand the columns of the ancient city of Soli Pompeiopolis, also in Mezitli; to the west the coast road continues towards Erdemli.
Who Travels From Tece
- Families arriving in early summer to open up their estate flat
- Year-round residents flying out on business trips
- Grandparents' guests visiting for a few weeks of the summer
- Relatives coming to Mersin for a wedding or a family gathering
Each trip needs something different. A solo business traveller is well served by a Business Sedan. A family with summer luggage fits a VIP Vito, and two families together fit the eight-seat Mercedes Vito. Where We Drive From Tece
The airport is the most common destination, followed by central Mersin, Adana, Kizkalesi and Silifke. We work door to door, so pickup is at your estate gate. Write the estate name, block number and your phone number in the notes and the driver will find you easily.
Prices are per vehicle, not per person. For the airport journey itself, including how to time it around city traffic, see our page on the transfer from Çukurova Airport to Tece. To book, choose Tece in the form, enter your date and compare vehicle classes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which district is Tece in?
Tece is a seaside neighbourhood in the Mezitli district of Mersin province. It was once a separate small town and now forms part of Mezitli's coastal belt west of central Mersin. Its holiday estates and year-round housing make it home to both summer visitors and residents who work in the city.
How will the driver find our estate?
After choosing Tece in the booking form, write the estate name, block or flat number and a reachable phone number in the notes. That makes the pickup point clear. If any details change, send a change request through the My Reservation page and the plan will be updated.
Can we take day trips from Tece to Kizkalesi or Silifke?
Yes. You can book point-to-point transfers from Tece to Kizkalesi, Silifke, Narlıkuyu or central Mersin. Use the "Add return" option in the booking form and both journeys sit in one reservation, each at the time you choose. Prices for every vehicle class appear in the form.
We are a big family heading to our holiday flat. Which vehicle?
A family of five or six with summer luggage travels comfortably in a VIP Vito. Two families together usually choose the eight-seat Mercedes Vito, and larger groups the fifteen-seat Mercedes Sprinter. Child seats can be added as an extra. Because pricing is per vehicle, sharing one car lowers the cost per person.
