Osmaniye Sumbas Çukurova Airport Transfer
Vehicles & Prices
Price per vehicle — pick a class and book in a minute.
A Sumbas to Çukurova Airport transfer starts on a green, winding mountain road and ends on a long, flat motorway. The first part, the drive down from the village to the plain, is what shapes the whole plan. Children who get carsick, young people heading back to the city alone, village houses with no street sign. This page covers the practical side of a day that begins in the hills and ends at the departure gate.
Start the Clock in the Hills
To find the pickup time, count back from the flight. Subtract the check-in and bag-drop window your airline recommends and allow for security. Then add the drive. Leaving Sumbas, the first stretch winds down through wooded slopes to the plain. It looks short on a map, but it is not a road to hurry, and it sets the pace. Once on the plain, the motorway runs west past Adana to the airport.
You choose the pickup time and enter it in the form. On rainy or foggy winter mornings, and at the end of public holidays when the motorway is busier, move the result a little earlier.
Beating Carsickness on the Bends
Mountain roads can make children, and sometimes adults, feel queasy. A few simple steps help you arrive at the airport feeling fine:
- Eat something light before leaving rather than a heavy breakfast.
- Encourage children to look out of the window instead of at a screen or book.
- Bring water, a few bags and wet wipes.
- Add a child seat for young children as an extra; sitting securely can also help with motion sickness.
If someone is prone to carsickness, you can mention it in the notes. Do not hesitate to ask for a short break if needed; that is what the margin in your pickup time is for.
Travelling Back Alone
When a holiday ends, young people are often the first to leave the village, heading back to university, work or military service in a big city. One or two travellers do not need a large vehicle. A Business Sedan, Premium Sedan or Comfort Class car is enough. Because prices are per vehicle, not per person, a smaller car makes sense for a solo traveller.
When the whole family is leaving, the picture changes. Four or five people with cases fit a VIP Vito, up to eight the Mercedes Vito, and larger groups the Mercedes Sprinter. The form shows the price for each vehicle class.
Describing an Address With No Sign
Many village houses have no street name or door number. Directions need to start from somewhere everyone knows. In the notes, give the village and neighbourhood name, the nearest landmark such as the mosque, school, village office or fountain, and a short description of the way from there to your house. Add a phone number that will be on at pickup. If the lane is narrow and steep, naming a meeting point where the car can stop easily makes things simpler.
Booking and Changes
In the form, choose Sumbas as the starting point and Çukurova Airport as the destination. Add the flight number, departure time and your directions in the notes. If your flight is cancelled or moved to another day, send a change request from the My Reservation page. For more about the district, see our Sumbas transfer page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Our children get carsick on winding roads. What do you suggest?
Give them something light to eat before leaving, ask them to look out of the window rather than at a screen, and bring water, bags and wet wipes. Add a child seat for young children as an extra. Leave some margin in the pickup time so a short break is possible if needed.
I am travelling alone. Which vehicle class should I choose?
For one or two travellers, a Business Sedan, Premium Sedan or Comfort Class car is enough. Prices are charged per vehicle, not per person, so choosing a smaller car makes sense when you are on your own. You can compare the prices of each class in the booking form.
Our village house has no formal address. How do we describe it?
In the notes, write the village and neighbourhood name, the nearest known landmark such as the mosque, school or village office, and short directions from there to your house. Add a phone number that will be on at pickup. If the lane is narrow, name a meeting point where the car can stop easily.
My flight was cancelled and moved to the next day. What should I do?
Open your booking on the My Reservation page and send a change request with the new flight's date and time. Work out the new pickup the same way, counting back from the flight and allowing for the drive down from the village. The earlier you send the request, the easier it is to rearrange.
