Niğde Bor Çukurova Airport Transfer
Vehicles & Prices
Price per vehicle — pick a class and book in a minute.
For families with young children, planning a Bor to Çukurova Airport transfer often comes down to one question: do we leave while the children are asleep, or once they are awake? The road from Bor heads south across the Niğde plain toward the Taurus Mountains, crosses them and comes down to the Çukurova plain. It is a long drive. This page covers departure day for families, a last visit to Kemerhisar for those who want one, and pickups from addresses in Bor.
Setting Off While the Children Sleep
With an early-morning flight, you will leave Bor during the night. For families, that is not bad news. Children get into the car at their usual bedtime hours, sleep for most of the drive and often arrive at the airport rested. The key is preparing the night before:
- Close the cases in the evening and line them up by the door.
- Put the children to bed in their travel clothes, so there is no dressing them in the dark.
- Pack a small pillow, a blanket and a water bottle in your hand luggage.
- If you need a child seat, add it to the booking as an extra and give the child's age, so you can set off as soon as the car arrives.
With an afternoon flight, think the other way round. A calm breakfast, then a drive that falls during nap time. Whichever you choose, you enter the pickup time in the form yourself.
One Last Look at Kemerhisar
Some of our guests who come to Bor for sightseeing want to see the Tyana ruins and the Roman aqueduct once more on their final day. Rather than combining that with the airport run, plan it separately. Book point-to-point transfers from your hotel to Kemerhisar and back, and a separate airport transfer with its own pickup time. A simpler plan still: move the sightseeing to the day before. Let departure day be about the road alone.
Pickups in Bor
We work door to door. If you are at a hotel, just select it in the form. If you are leaving from a relative's house, put the neighbourhood, street and directions in the notes. Streets in Bor's older quarters can be narrow, and the car will stop at the nearest suitable point if needed.
Choose the vehicle to fit the family. A couple or a solo traveller fits a Business Sedan, Premium Sedan or Comfort Class car. A family with children is comfortable in a VIP Vito or Ultra VIP Vito, where there is room for sleeping kids to stretch out. Two families on the same flight suit the eight-seat Mercedes Vito, and a larger group the Mercedes Sprinter. Prices are per vehicle, not per person.
Working Out the Pickup Time
Start with the departure time. Subtract the check-in and bag-drop window your airline recommends. Allow for security, which can take a little longer with a pushchair and baby gear. Then add the drive from Bor. In winter, snow and ice are possible on the Taurus crossing, so set the pickup a little earlier in those months.
In the form, choose Bor as the starting point and Çukurova Airport as the destination. Add the pickup address, flight number and departure time to the notes. If the departure time changes, send a change request from the My Reservation page. For more on the district, Kemerhisar and other journeys, see our Bor transfer page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Isn't a night drive exhausting with small children?
For most families it works the other way. Children get into the car around bedtime and sleep for much of the drive. Packing the evening before, putting the children to bed in travel clothes and adding a child seat to the booking all make the night easier. If you would rather not travel at night, an afternoon flight is a good alternative.
Can we stop at Kemerhisar on the way to the airport?
For trips with stops, we suggest planning each leg as a separate point-to-point transfer. The simplest solution is to visit Kemerhisar the day before you fly. Departure day is then only about the airport journey, and you can set the pickup time around your flight without pressure.
How many child seats can I add?
Child seats are added to the booking as extras. In the form, give each child's age and the number of seats you need. If you are travelling with more than one young child, a roomier class such as the VIP Vito or Ultra VIP Vito makes the journey more comfortable for both the seats and the luggage.
We are being collected from a relative's house, but the address is confusing. What should we do?
Write the neighbourhood, the street and clear directions in the notes; naming a well-known spot nearby, such as a school, mosque or shop, helps a lot. Add a phone number that will be switched on at pickup time. For night pickups in particular, these details save time.
