A Tarsus to Çukurova Airport transfer is one of the shortest return trips we run; the airport actually sits within the district. Short does not mean simple, though. A pilgrim group catching the first flight of the day, an engineer leaving a factory meeting for an evening departure, a couple bumping suitcases out of a restored mansion hotel. Getting any of them to the terminal on time is less about the road and more about lining up people and times. That is what this page is for.

The First Wave and Your Last Night in Tarsus

Pre-dawn departures are the real reward for staying close to the airport. The arithmetic stays the same, though. From the departure time, subtract the check-in and bag-drop window your airline recommends, allow for security, then add the drive from your hotel. That gives you the pickup time. You set it yourself and enter it in the booking form.

A few jobs the night before save the morning. Settle the room bill in the evening. Ask reception whether a packed breakfast is possible. Put your passport and boarding pass at the top of your hand luggage. When the alarm goes, the only task left is walking downstairs.

Gathering a Group in the Lobby

Groups who come to follow the footsteps of St Paul usually fly home on the same plane. On arrival people trickle out one by one; on departure everyone has to be in one place at one minute. A few tips for group leaders:

  • Announce the meeting point and time the evening before; the hotel lobby is easiest.
  • Have the cases brought down a little before pickup and count them once.
  • If people are spread across hotels, either gather everyone at one of them or book a separate transfer for each.
  • Put the headcount and the number of large cases in the notes so the right vehicle class gets picked.

Groups of up to fifteen travel together in a Mercedes Sprinter, and a seven-person delegation wanting a more exclusive ride can take the Ultra VIP Sprinter. Prices are per vehicle.

From the Factory Gate to the Terminal

Visitors to the industrial sites around Tarsus often skip the hotel on the way home: the meeting wraps up and they head straight for the airport. In that case the pickup address is the workplace, not a hotel. In the notes, give the site name, the gate you will leave from and the name to mention at security.

Meetings like to overrun. Choose the pickup time from the flight, not from when the meeting should end. If plans shift, send a change request from the My Reservation page. A single executive is well served by a Business Sedan or Premium Sedan; a team of two or three with sample cases fits comfortably in a VIP Vito.

From a Mansion Lane to the Main Road

Staying in one of the old-town mansion hotels? Agree the pickup point in advance. With a larger vehicle, meeting near the main road rather than at the door may be necessary. You will make that short walk with luggage, so leave a few minutes early. Bags going home from Tarsus are often heavier than the ones that arrived, so pack with that in mind.

Completing the Booking

In the form, choose your Tarsus hotel or workplace as the starting point and Çukurova Airport as the destination. Add the flight number, departure time and pickup details to the notes. For the old town and places to stay, see our Tarsus transfer page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Part of our group is in another hotel. Can we all go in one vehicle?

Our transfers run point to point. The simplest option is for everyone to meet in one hotel lobby at an agreed time. If that is not possible, book a separate transfer for each hotel and set every pickup time from the same flight. Putting the headcount and number of cases in the notes makes it easy to choose the right vehicle class for each party.

Can we go straight from a meeting to the airport?

Yes. Choose your workplace as the pickup address or write it in the notes. Adding the site name, the gate you will use and the name to give at security speeds things up. Set the pickup time by counting back from your flight rather than from the planned end of the meeting. If the schedule slips, send a change request from the My Reservation page.

The airport is so close. Why leave early?

Because the time is decided more by the airport than by the road. Check-in queues, bag drop and security can all stretch at busy hours. Take the airline's recommended window off the departure time, allow for security, then add the short drive. With a large group or plenty of luggage, choosing a slightly earlier pickup takes the pressure off everyone.

Our flight has been moved earlier. What should we do?

Open your booking on the My Reservation page and send a change request with the new departure time. Work out the new pickup by counting back from the flight and allowing for check-in and security. If you are travelling as a group, tell everyone the new meeting time straight away. The sooner the request reaches us, the easier it is to rearrange.
