Kayseri Sarız Çukurova Airport Transfer
Vehicles & Prices
Price per vehicle — pick a class and book in a minute.
A Sarız to Çukurova Airport transfer usually comes at the end of something: a family holiday, a wedding, a few weeks back in the village. The drive from the Kayseri highlands down to the Mediterranean plain is a long one, so the real planning happens the evening before, not on the road. This page covers how to time the pickup, what an early-morning or winter departure involves, and how to get village luggage ready for a flight.
Working Back From Your Departure Time
Start with the time your flight leaves. Subtract the check-in and bag-drop window your airline recommends. Allow for security. Then add the drive from Sarız, which runs from the plateau down through the mountains and should never be treated like a short city hop. The result is your pickup time. You choose it, and you enter it in the booking form.
Long drives collect small delays. Roadworks, a patch of fog, a stop to stretch your legs. Add a little extra on top of your sum and you will wait calmly at the terminal instead of rushing through it.
Night Starts and Winter Departures
An early flight means leaving Sarız in the dark. Plan for it. Close the cases the night before, keep passports and ID in one bag, and charge every phone. Put a number that will be switched on at pickup time in the booking notes.
Winter needs its own margin. Snow and ice are possible on the plateau, and at night the driver adjusts speed to the road, which lengthens the trip. If you are flying out between late autumn and spring, set the pickup earlier than you would in summer. Check the forecast on your last evening; if snow is coming, send a change request from the My Reservation page to bring the time forward.
Getting Collected From a Village House
Addresses in the district centre are easy. Village houses need directions. In the notes, give the village and neighbourhood name, a landmark such as the mosque, the fountain or the school, and a phone number. If snow or a narrow lane stops the vehicle short of the door, it waits at the nearest suitable spot, so it helps to agree that spot in advance.
Relatives on the same flight but staying in different houses should gather at one of them. Our transfers run point to point, and if gathering is not possible, say so in the notes when you book.
Flying Home With Village Parcels
The bag going home is always heavier than the one that came. Dried food, cheese, butter, hand-knitted socks. Before you set off:
- Seal liquids and soft foods well and pack them in the hold case, not the cabin bag.
- Check your airline's weight allowance, because surprises at the desk are expensive.
- If you are flying abroad, look up the destination country's rules on bringing in food.
- Tape parcels firmly and write your name and phone number on each one.
Choose the vehicle for the load as well as the headcount. Two people with a few cases fit a Business Sedan or Premium Sedan. A family of up to six is comfortable in a VIP Vito, eight people in a Mercedes Vito, and a larger family group in a Mercedes Sprinter. Prices are per vehicle, not per person.
Booking It Properly
In the form, choose Sarız as the starting point and Çukurova Airport as the destination. Add the flight number, departure time, pickup address and village directions to the notes. If plans shift or the flight moves, send a change request from the My Reservation page. For more about the district itself, see our Sarız transfer page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Our flight leaves early in the morning. Do we have to set off at night?
Very likely, yes. Count back from the departure time: the airline's recommended check-in window, security, and the long drive from Sarız to the airport. For early flights that sum usually lands in the small hours. Packing the night before and leaving a working phone number in the notes makes the start much easier.
Can the vehicle come right up to our village house?
We work door to door, so give the village name, a landmark near the house and a phone number in the notes. If snow, ice or a narrow lane stops the vehicle reaching the door, it waits at the nearest suitable spot. In winter it is worth agreeing a meeting point in advance and adding it to the booking.
Can we take home food from the village on the plane?
That depends on your airline and, for international flights, on the destination country's import rules. Sealing liquids and soft foods, packing them in the hold case, checking the weight allowance and taping parcels firmly all help. If the load is large, booking a bigger vehicle class gives you room for everything.
Our departure time has changed. What should we do?
Open your booking on the My Reservation page and send a change request with the new departure time. Work out the new pickup time the same way, counting back from the flight and allowing for the long drive and the steps at the airport. In winter especially, the earlier you send it, the easier it is to rearrange.
