A Çukurova Airport to Bahçe transfer crosses the whole of the Çukurova region. The airport sits at the western end, near Tarsus; Bahçe lies at the far eastern edge, up in the Amanus Mountains. Adana, Ceyhan and Osmaniye lie in between. This page walks you through the journey from the arrivals hall to your front door.

Spotting Your Name at Arrivals

We track your flight number, so if the plane is late the pickup simply moves to the real landing time. After baggage reclaim, walk through the arrivals exit and look for the sign with your name. For families flying in from abroad, this is usually the busiest moment of the day. Suitcases, parcels, tired children. The car is only a few steps away.

Across the Plain, Then Into the Hills

Most of the drive follows the motorway east across the Çukurova plain. You skirt Adana, leave Ceyhan behind and pass cotton and maize fields. As Osmaniye draws closer, the dark green slopes of the Amanus range rise ahead.

The real change comes after Osmaniye. The straight road gives way to a mountain road with more bends, cooler air and the smell of pine and oak through the window. It is a short stretch, but it has character.

Notes for Families Coming Home

Many of our Bahçe passengers live abroad or in big Turkish cities and are returning for a visit. A few practical points help a lot:

  • List parcels and extra bags in the notes so we choose the right vehicle
  • Book early for religious holidays, when flights and roads are busy
  • For a village address, add directions and a local phone number
  • Add a child seat as an extra if you travel with small children

Choosing a Vehicle: Luggage Counts Too

Two people with two suitcases are fine in a Business Sedan or Premium Sedan. A family of four or five with parcels travels well in a VIP Vito, and those wanting more space on a long drive often pick the Ultra VIP Vito. Up to eight people fit in the Mercedes Vito; bigger wedding and holiday groups take the Mercedes Sprinter. Prices are per vehicle, so sharing one brings the cost per person down.

For more about the district itself and other trips from there, see our Osmaniye Bahçe page.

Heading Back After the Visit

The return trip comes down from the mountains and crosses the full width of the plain. Choose your pickup time by working back from your flight, leaving room for check-in and bag drop. Add the return when you book using the "Add return" option, and if your dates change, send a request through the My Reservation page. To start, choose Çukurova Airport as pickup and Osmaniye Bahçe as drop-off, then add your flight number.

Frequently Asked Questions

What route does the transfer take to Bahçe?

The trip starts on the motorway heading east across the Çukurova plain, passing the Adana area and Ceyhan before reaching Osmaniye. After Osmaniye the road climbs towards the Amanus Mountains and becomes a winding mountain road. Your driver plans the journey around traffic on the day and takes you to your door.

We are flying in from abroad with a lot of luggage. Is that a problem?

Not at all, as long as you tell us in the notes field. Give the number of suitcases and parcels and we will match the vehicle class. A family of four or five with parcels suits a VIP Vito; for more people or more luggage, the Mercedes Vito or Mercedes Sprinter. The booking form shows prices per class.

When should we book for a religious holiday?

Holiday and summer periods bring many families back to the region, so we recommend booking as soon as you have your flight tickets. Enter the date, flight number and destination in the online form to complete the booking. If anything changes later, you can send a change request through the My Reservation page.

Who meets me if my flight is late?

Because we track your flight number, a delayed landing automatically moves the pickup time to match. When you come through the arrivals exit with your bags, your driver will be waiting with a sign showing your name. There is no need to contact us separately about the delay.
