Stepping Out of Arrivals

Plain, Pass, Valley
From the airport the route first crosses the flat farmland around Tarsus. Then it turns north towards Pozantı and starts to climb. The scenery changes quickly. Citrus orchards give way to pine forest, rocky slopes and deep gorges.
This corridor has linked the Anatolian interior with the Mediterranean coast for a very long time, and it still carries heavy truck traffic. Expect snow and ice on the higher sections in winter. Our drivers know this mountain road well and set their pace by the weather. After Pozantı the road enters the valley where Ciftehan sits, and the signs for the spa hotels start appearing.
Matching the Car to a Spa Stay
Spa guests rarely travel light. A cure of several days usually means a large suitcase, a bag of medication and sometimes a walker or folding wheelchair. Count the luggage as carefully as the passengers.
- Business Sedan, Premium Sedan, Comfort Class: up to three passengers, ideal for solo travellers and couples.
- VIP Vito and Ultra VIP Vito: up to six, for families bringing parents along.
- Mercedes Vito: eight seats, handy when two families share a spa weekend.
- Mercedes Sprinter and Ultra VIP Sprinter: fifteen or seven seats for clubs and group trips.
Prices are per vehicle, so a larger party sharing one car pays noticeably less per head. Child seats can be added as an extra.
Book the Way Back Now
Spa stays usually have fixed dates, so it makes sense to arrange the return from the start. Tick “Add return” in the booking form, enter the return date and your pickup time at the hotel, and both legs sit on one booking. If your flight home leaves in the evening during winter, pick an earlier pickup to allow for mountain conditions and trucks on the pass.

What happens if snow affects the Taurus pass?
The mountain section can see snow and ice in winter, and occasionally traffic measures are put in place. Our drivers follow road conditions and adjust their speed. Will a wheelchair fit in the car?
A folding wheelchair or walker takes up a good part of a sedan's boot. If it travels alongside suitcases, choose a roomier vehicle such as the VIP Vito or Mercedes Vito. Mention the wheelchair in the notes field of the booking form so the vehicle is planned with it in mind and there are no surprises at arrivals.
I only know the town, not the hotel name. Is that enough?
You can select Ciftehan as your destination, but the town has more than one thermal hotel, so please add the hotel name in the notes field for a true door-to-door drop-off. If you confirm the hotel later, send a change request through the My Reservation page and the details will be updated on your booking.
