Çukurova Airport Niğde Bor Transfer
Vehicles & Prices
Price per vehicle — pick a class and book in a minute.
A Çukurova Airport to Bor transfer follows an ancient line in reverse. Travellers leaving Tyana in antiquity headed down through the Taurus passes to the Mediterranean coast. You start on that coast and cross the same mountains to reach Bor on the plain above. This page covers the practical side: meeting your driver, the route, the right vehicle, planning a visit to the ruins and getting back.
The Moment You See the Sign
Once your bags are off the belt, walk to the arrivals exit. Your driver will be there holding a sign with your name. We track your flight, so if you land late the meeting time moves to match. No phone calls needed.
A tip for first-timers. The climate on the plateau is quite different from the coast where you land. Evenings in Bor are cool even in summer. In winter, keep a warm jacket in your cabin bag.
The Route: Coastal Plain to High Plateau
From the airport the road crosses the flat land near Tarsus, then turns north towards Pozantı. That is where the climb into the Taurus begins. Valleys narrow, slopes fill with pine, and truck traffic picks up. After the pass, around Ulukışla, the steppe opens out.
The final section drops onto the Niğde plain. Bor sits very close to Niğde city, so the last part of the drive runs past fields and orchards between the two. Snow and ice are possible on the mountain section in winter, and our drivers adjust their pace to suit.
Family Visit or History Trip?
People flying to Bor fall into two groups with different needs. Family visitors bring lots of luggage. History travellers bring cameras and light bags.
- Solo traveller or couple: Business Sedan, Premium Sedan or Comfort Class, up to three people.
- Family with children: VIP Vito or Ultra VIP Vito, up to six; child seats can be added as an extra.
- Friends or two families: the eight-seat Mercedes Vito.
- Heritage tour group: the fifteen-seat Mercedes Sprinter or seven-seat Ultra VIP Sprinter.
Prices are per vehicle, so the cost per person falls as the group grows.
The Day After: Planning Tyana
Most of our sightseeing guests go straight from the airport to a hotel in Bor or Niğde and visit the ruins the next day. It is a sensible plan. After a long journey, the Kemerhisar arches are much more enjoyable in fresh afternoon light. Book a separate point-to-point transfer from your hotel to Kemerhisar for that day.
Set up your return from the start. Tick “Add return” in the form and enter the date and pickup time; both legs sit on one booking. For more on the district, Kemerhisar, Tyana and other trips from Bor, see our Bor transfer and travel page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we go straight from the airport to Kemerhisar?
Yes. Choose Bor as your destination and add the Kemerhisar address or meeting point in the notes. Keep in mind that accommodation in Kemerhisar is very limited, so most guests check into a hotel in Bor or Niğde first and visit the ruins the next day with a separate transfer. The booking form shows prices for each vehicle class.
Who waits for me if my flight is delayed?
We track your flight. If it is delayed, the meeting time is adjusted to the actual landing and your driver waits at the arrivals exit with a sign showing your name. If your flight date changes entirely, just send a change request through the My Reservation page and the booking will be updated accordingly.
Is the road difficult in winter?
The Taurus pass and the high plain can see snow and ice in winter. Our drivers know this route well and adjust their speed to the conditions. If you have a return flight in the winter months, choose a slightly earlier pickup from Bor so you have a margin for any slowdowns on the way to the airport.
Can I request a child seat?
Yes, child seats can be added to your booking as an extra. State your child's age and how many seats you need in the booking form so the right seat is prepared. On a long mountain drive, the correct seat matters for both safety and comfort, and it saves time at pickup.
