Çukurova Airport Metros Hotel Transfer
Vehicles & Prices
Price per vehicle — pick a class and book in a minute.
A Çukurova Airport to Metros Hotel transfer starts at the terminal on the Tarsus side and ends at the hotel's door on Akdeniz Street, in the Müfide İlhan neighbourhood of Mersin's Akdeniz district. You enter the city from the east, so there is no need to cross the whole of Mersin first. For sightseers, that means spending the first afternoon in town rather than on the road. Below: the meeting, the final stretch, choosing a car and how to make the most of your last day.
Who Meets You, and Where
After landing and collecting your luggage, walk to the arrivals exit. Your driver waits there with a sign showing your name. We track your flight, so a change in landing time moves the meeting time with it.
To check your details, the My Reservation page is always available. Just make sure the hotel name and passenger count are right.
From the Plain to Akdeniz Street
The trip begins on the flat Çukurova plain, with fields, orchards and the occasional greenhouse along the road. After Tarsus, Mersin's industrial and warehouse belt takes over. This is the working side of a port city.
You enter Mersin from the east, and Akdeniz, the hotel's district, is the first big district you reach. There is no need to continue to the western end of town. The last part winds through neighbourhood streets before the driver drops you at the entrance on Akdeniz Street. Day trips from the hotel are gathered on our Metros Hotel transfer and day trip guide.
Travelling With Holiday Luggage
People here for several days of sightseeing tend to carry more: beach bags, walking shoes, a pushchair. Factor that in when you pick a car.
- A couple with one suitcase: Business Sedan or Comfort Class
- Three people with two large cases and backpacks: Comfort Class or Premium Sedan
- A family of four or five needing a pushchair and a child seat: VIP Vito or Ultra VIP Vito
- A group of friends or two families, up to eight: Mercedes Vito
Groups of up to fifteen can take a Mercedes Sprinter, and smaller parties wanting wider seats the seven-seat Ultra VIP Sprinter. Prices are per vehicle, not per person. Child seats can be added as an extra during booking.
Making the Most of the Last Day
Flying out in the evening? You do not have to spend the final day at the hotel. Tarsus lies on the way to the airport, so you can book one transfer from the hotel to Tarsus and a second from Tarsus to the airport once you have finished exploring. These are two separate point-to-point journeys, so think ahead about where your luggage will be during the day.
If you are heading straight from the hotel to the airport, add the return to your arrival booking using "Add return". Choose a pickup time that leaves enough room for check-in and security. Changes can be requested on the My Reservation page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do we cross the whole city to reach Metros Hotel?
No. Çukurova Airport is on the Tarsus side and you enter Mersin from the east. Akdeniz, where Metros Hotel stands, is the first big district on that approach, so there is no need to go on to Yenişehir or Mezitli in the west. The final stretch runs through neighbourhood streets, and the driver drops you at the hotel entrance on Akdeniz Street.
Can I visit Tarsus on my departure day and go to the airport from there?
Yes. Book one transfer from the hotel to Tarsus and a second from Tarsus to Çukurova Airport; each is a separate point-to-point journey. Set the pickup time for the second transfer with your sightseeing time and flight departure in mind, leaving a margin for check-in. Plan ahead for how you will handle your luggage during the day.
Which car fits a pushchair and large suitcases?
A family of four or five with a pushchair and a few large cases fits comfortably in a VIP Vito or Ultra VIP Vito. With more luggage, or two families travelling together, the eight-seat Mercedes Vito gives extra space. Remember to add a child seat as an extra when you book if you need one.
