A Çukurova Airport to Mersin Free Zone transfer is usually the first leg of a working day that began on an early flight. You land, glance at your inbox and need to be at the table soon after. The airport lies on the Tarsus side of Mersin; the free zone is on the waterfront beside Mersin Port. Here is how the trip runs from arrivals to the zone gate, how to time it around meetings and how to plan a same-day return.

Do the Maths Before the Meeting

Delays are what business travellers worry about most. If the plane is late, does the meeting slip too? We track your flight number, so pickup follows the actual landing. Keeping the meeting a sensible distance from the scheduled arrival is up to you.

Put the host company name, a contact person and your meeting time in the booking notes. If your host has arranged vehicle access to the zone, mention that as well. The rest is just driving.

From Arrivals to the Port District

After the arrivals exit, look for the sign with your name. Plenty of business travellers skip the baggage belt altogether and walk straight out with cabin bags. The car is waiting close by.

The route follows the main roads from the airport into Mersin and then down to the waterfront and the port area. Lorry traffic around the port builds up at certain times, especially at the start and end of the working day. Your driver knows the pattern and drops you at the zone entrance, or at the point your host's access arrangement allows.

One Executive or a Whole Delegation

The right car depends on who is travelling and how many.

  • A single executive with a cabin bag: Business Sedan
  • An important guest your company is hosting: Premium Sedan or Comfort Class
  • A team of three to five carrying sample cases: VIP Vito
  • An overseas trade delegation of eight: Mercedes Vito

Senior groups who want space to rest between meetings often choose the Ultra VIP Vito, while larger fair or incentive groups travel in a Mercedes Sprinter or Ultra VIP Sprinter. Prices are per vehicle and the booking form shows each class side by side. You can view your booking and request changes on the My Reservation page.

Same-Day Return to the Airport

Many visits fit into a single day: in on the morning flight, out on the evening one. Add the return when you book, using the Add return option so both legs sit in one reservation, and set the pickup time by working back from your departure with a margin for check-in. If the meeting runs long or finishes early, send a time change request through My Reservation.

For more about the zone itself, the gate procedure and getting around the city after work, see our Mersin Free Zone transfer guide. To book, choose Çukurova Airport as pickup and Mersin Free Zone as drop-off, then add your flight number.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a delayed flight make me late for my meeting?

On our side, no time is lost: we track your flight, and the driver is at the arrivals exit with a name sign when you actually land. The drive itself and traffic around the port stay the same, though. That is why we suggest leaving a comfortable gap between the scheduled landing and the start of your meeting.

What do I need at the zone entrance?

The free zone has controlled entrances, and visitors may be asked for ID or to register. Confirm the required documents, and whether vehicle access has been arranged, with your host company beforehand. If access is arranged, add the company name and contact person to the notes; otherwise we drop you at the zone entrance.

Can our company book transfers for foreign guests?

Yes. Enter the guest's name, flight number and destination in the booking form, and the guest's name appears on the meeting sign. If several guests arrive on different flights, make a separate booking for each flight so every pickup is timed to the right landing.

I am not sure whether I will go to my hotel or straight to the airport after the meeting.

Book the most likely plan and add the return with the Add return option. Once things are clear, send an address or time change request through the My Reservation page and our team will update the plan. If you need to catch an evening flight, let us know about changes as early as you can.
