Çukurova Airport Adana Saimbeyli Transfer
Vehicles & Prices
Price per vehicle — pick a class and book in a minute.
A Çukurova Airport to Saimbeyli transfer is one of the longest inland journeys we drive. The airport lies on the coastal plain on the Tarsus side; Saimbeyli is up in the inner Taurus, in the far north of Adana province. Between them come the plain, a string of towns and a long mountain road. After a long flight, doing that by bus with changes is hard work. Here is what the trip looks like with a private car, from the arrivals exit to your family's front door.
Coming Home After a Long Flight
Many passengers on this route are expatriates returning to their home town. Their cases are heavy and so are their eyelids. Add your flight number when you book and we will track the flight; if it is delayed, the pickup time shifts to the real landing. Once you have your bags, walk through the arrivals exit and look for the driver holding your name.
No transfers. No waiting rooms. The car that collects you is the car that drops you at the door.
Across the Plain, Then Into the Mountains
The first part of the drive crosses the flat farmland of the Çukurova. Past Adana the road heads north towards Kozan, and the plain slowly narrows as hills rise on either side. Beyond Kozan, the road climbs through Feke into the mountains and the drive changes character completely.
From here it is a winding, forested and quiet road. In summer you feel the air cool as you climb. In winter the higher sections can see snow, and our drivers adjust their pace accordingly. Travelling with children who get carsick? Tell the driver before the bends begin, and a short stop can be made at a suitable spot.
Comfort on a Long Drive
On a long mountain route the size of the car matters as much as the number of seats. Couples are fine in a Business Sedan or Premium Sedan, or a Comfort Class if you want more room to rest. A family of five or six with gift boxes is better in a VIP Vito, or an Ultra VIP Vito for a quieter ride.
- Two households travelling together: eight-seat Mercedes Vito
- Wedding or holiday group: fifteen-seat Mercedes Sprinter
- Seven people wanting extra space: Ultra VIP Sprinter
- Small children on board: add a child seat as an extra
Prices are per vehicle, and the booking form shows all classes side by side.
Village Addresses and the Return Trip
In Saimbeyli your destination is usually a village or neighbourhood house. Write the village name, short directions and a phone number in the booking notes. For the town's history, Obruk Waterfall and the surroundings, see our Saimbeyli page.
No second booking is needed for the way back. Use Add return in the booking form to plan the trip to the airport at the same time, and leave a generous margin before your flight because the road is long and mountainous. To start, choose Çukurova Airport as pickup, Saimbeyli as drop-off and enter your flight number.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which route do you take to Saimbeyli?
The drive first crosses the Çukurova plain past Adana and heads north towards Kozan. After Kozan it climbs through Feke on a winding, forested road into the Taurus Mountains and reaches Saimbeyli. Drivers plan the route according to road and weather conditions, and in winter the higher stretches can have snow.
We are flying in from abroad. What if our flight is late?
We track the flight number you give in your booking. If your plane lands late, the pickup time moves to the actual landing. After collecting your bags, you will find the driver at the arrivals exit holding a sign with your name, and you set off directly to your address in Saimbeyli.
Can I book the return trip now?
Yes. Use the Add return option in the booking form to include the trip from Saimbeyli back to the airport in the same reservation. Because the road is long and mountainous, choose a pickup time with a comfortable margin before your flight. If dates change, send a change request through the My Reservation page.
Can we stop for the children on the way?
This is a private transfer, so only your group is in the car. If the children need a short break, tell the driver and they will stop at a suitable, safe place. For young children, remember to add a child seat as an extra when you make the booking.
