Booking an Adana to Çukurova Airport transfer is mostly a question of where in the city you are starting. The airport sits west of Adana, out toward Tarsus. A hotel in the centre and an apartment on the far eastern edge are therefore two quite different pickups, even though both say Adana on the booking. Plan from your flight time backwards and the rest falls into place. Here is how we would think it through.

Start With the Departure Time, Not the Clock

Look at your boarding pass first. From the departure time, subtract the check-in and bag-drop window your airline recommends; domestic and international flights differ, so check your ticket rather than guessing. Leave room for the security queue. Then add the drive from your pickup address and whatever traffic that hour usually brings.

The result is your pickup time. You choose it and enter it in the booking form, and your driver is at the address at that time. If you are torn between two times, take the earlier one. A spare half hour airside is a coffee. A missing half hour is a sprint.

Which Side of the River You Are On

Adana spreads out on both banks of the Seyhan, and the starting point changes the picture:

  • Central hotels in the Seyhan district: the westward exit is fairly direct, though weekday mornings are busy.
  • Çukurova district and the newer residential blocks around Turgut Özal Boulevard: add the complex name, block and door number in the notes.
  • Yüreğir, east of the river: bridge crossings slow down at rush hour.
  • Sarıçam, around the university and the hospital: the far eastern side of the city and the longest of the urban pickups.
  • Factories and offices in the industrial zones: tell us which gate the car should wait at if the site has a security entrance.
  • Outlying districts such as Kozan, Ceyhan or Karaisalı: these are separate journeys, and the form lists them individually with their own route and price.

Dawn Departures and Late-Night Flights

Business travellers tend to take the first flight out. That means a pickup in the dark. Pack the night before and, if the hotel allows it, settle your bill in the evening. Queuing at reception at dawn eats exactly the minutes you will want later.

Late-evening departures pose the opposite problem. Check-out is at noon, the flight is hours away. How you spend that gap is up to you; book the transfer for the evening, timed to the flight, and allow for the late-afternoon build-up on the roads leaving the city.

Luggage Grows on the Way Home

People rarely leave Adana lighter than they arrived. Spices from the old bazaar, gift boxes, a folder of contracts. Pick the vehicle for the bags you will have on the last day. One or two travellers fit comfortably in a Business Sedan, Premium Sedan or Comfort Class car. A family of up to six suits the VIP Vito or Ultra VIP Vito, eight people the Mercedes Vito, and a larger team heading home together after a conference the fifteen-seat Mercedes Sprinter. A child seat can be added as an extra. Prices are per vehicle, not per person, and the form shows them by vehicle class.

Travelling as a group? Gather everyone at one pickup address. Teams spread across several hotels are better served by separate bookings.

Booking the Ride and Changing It

In the booking form, set Adana or your hotel as the starting point and Çukurova Airport as the destination. Put the pickup address, flight number and departure time in the notes field. If the flight moves or a meeting runs over, send a change request from the My Reservation page. For an overview of districts and prices across the city, see our Adana transfer prices page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How early should I leave Adana for the airport?

Rather than a fixed figure, count backwards. Take your departure time, subtract the check-in window your airline recommends, allow for security, then add the drive from your district and the traffic at that hour. If you are starting from Sarıçam or Yüreğir on the eastern side of the city, choose an earlier pickup than you would from a central hotel.

My flight has been rescheduled. How do I move the pickup?

Open your booking on the My Reservation page and send a change request with the new departure time. Work out the new pickup time the same way, counting back from the flight. The earlier you send the request, the easier it is to arrange, so please do not leave it until the last moment.

Can I be collected straight from a factory or office?

Yes. Enter your workplace as the pickup address. For industrial sites or buildings with a security gate, note which entrance the car should wait at and the passenger's phone number. A colleague or assistant can make the booking on your behalf, as long as the traveller's name is spelled correctly.

We are a family with a lot of luggage. Which vehicle works?

A family of four or five usually travels comfortably in a VIP Vito. With a heavy load of bags, or close to eight people, the Mercedes Vito gives more room. Add child seats as an extra when booking if you have young children. The form shows each vehicle class with its price, charged per vehicle.
